애슐리 Ashley's Buffet in Seoul Pt.2 - Myeongdong Location

We finally checked out the Ashley Buffet at Myeongdong! (on Buddha's Bday Friday, May 17th) during their lunch period but we got charged the weekend/dinner price: 19,900 :(((
It was still awesome. Sorry, couldn't get pics of Ashley's Ashley Meal. bahaha

This one is next to Everysing by Spao on the 5th floor. For front entrance, take the elevator to the 5th floor. If you take the escalators, turn left and find your way to the host.

They had a lot less vegetarian options :((
They didn't have Ashley's favorite mashed pumpkin and squash salad. (like a purée)

This location offers BRUNCH! Mon-Sat from 9:00-11:00AM

Link to Ashley website here.

Counterclockwise from pizza: Alfredo Pasta, Spicy seasoned potato from roasted pork entree, Sweet Maple Dimsum Dumpling, California Sushi Style Ball of Rice, Seasoned Potato Wedges
All very yummy!

Everest Nepalese/Indian Restaurant in Dongdaemun, Seoul

Very good food, spicy and authentic.

Good prices and decent portions. Decor is nice as well, very refreshing and homey.

We got 2 curries, an order of rice, an order of naan, and a side dish for about $21 or 22,000 won.

Check it out!

New Project! Food Diary Entry #1

Hey everyone,

I have a new project I want to start, one that involves food and also involves me trying to eat healthier. So I have heard and read that keep a food diary is an effective means of not overeating (because after a days worth you get to see how much you have actually eaten...believe me I scare myself sometimes). I hope to keep this up daily, but knowing me there will be some considerable gaps in between entries. Without further ado here is my first entry....Jjang!

-Ashley

Breakfast

A cup of plain non fat yogurt with cinnamon and a tablespoon of flaxseed powder on it. I added half a banana to make it sweet!

Lunch
A mango juice (made from frozen mangoes we harvested from this past sumer, put in the blender with water). A slice of my dad's lasagna (spinach and veggie meat) and avocado tomato salad! and with an odd side dish...kimchi. I was in the mood for it.
